Press Release HERE

2012 4th of July Artist:

Surya O'Shea is a freelance illustrator from the backwoods of northern California. Although born in the city Surya's family quickly and mercifully moved him to the country at an early age, transplanting now and again to towns with names that barely register on the map: Asti, Yorkville,  Comptche. Living in these remote and beautiful places shaped Surya's approach to art, and the forms and colors of nature are prevalent in his work. Apart from being an illustrator Surya also teaches drawing, painting, animation and scultpure for several institutions. Mr. O'Shea currently lives in Northern California with his wife, two children, and a few wild cats.
