Albert Paley is an American modernist metal sculptor.

He began as a jeweler but quickly found his calling in sculpting. In the years since, he has become one of the most well-known and influential metal smiths in the world. In 1995, he became the first metal sculptor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Institute of Architecture.

His exhibition “Thresholds” focuses on large-scale sculptures, drawings, and maquettes. It is the largest public art installation Sonoma has ever had, with pieces at locations such as the Plaza, Depot Park, near Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, and your local Sonoma Community Center!
