Blacksmithing course will be for 4 week course where you will learn how to draw out a point, make a chisel point, square point, and other basics on the first night. You will also walk away having made their own steak turner as their first project. Hand eye coordination and proper body mechanics for each strike will be practiced. This hands-on course will be tailored made for each student. And depending on each student’s progression on the basics, we will then look at other fun projects to create
Have no fear – blacksmithing is not about strength. Learning sections are demonstrated and individually supervised to help you complete your project. This class is open to children 5+ as long as an adult is registered with the child.
Students should bring the following if available: Leather gloves, safety glasses, cotton jeans, cotton shirt or flannel. NO synthetics!!! Leather, cotton or wool are the only items to be worn. Please do not wear ANYTHING that is important to you or that you are not willing to ruin.

Anastatia attended fashion design school and her skills include knitting, crochet, sewing, and fabricating and blacksmithing. She also loves to cook and bake. She has experience as a Square foot garden instructor and does best when she is working with her hands. She specifically loves to help people accomplish something that they feel is difficult or frustrating.
