Sonoma Community Center’s Office Closed and Upcoming Classes and Events Cancelled

Dear Community Members,

We are providing an important update on the Center’s response to the evolving situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) based on the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our local Sonoma County Department of Health Services.

Based on the latest CDC recommendations as well as the recent news that cases of coronavirus have been detected in Sonoma County the Center is cancelling or postponing all of our in-progress and upcoming classes as well as upcoming rentals until it has been determined it is safe to resume. Although this is a significant decision for our organization we remain committed first and foremost to the health and safety of our students, teachers, staff and community at large.

Due to the County of Sonoma issuing a shelter-in-place order effective 3/18/2020 the Center’s office will be closed during the time this order is in effect.  Our staff will continue working from home at this time and provide support and resources as possible for our community.

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us by email, general inquiries can be directed to our main email at [email protected].

For specific staff emails please reference our staff page: https://sonomacommunitycenter.org/about/the-centers-staff/

We’ll continue to provide updates on further developments in our operating status and when we hope to resume activities.

We truly appreciate your continued support and understanding.
