4 weeks of fun, hands-on art classes.   Approximately half of classes will focus on clay, and the other half will focus on fiber, painting, collage and more!   Classes will inspire and educate young students in our professional- level art studios.   Our instructor will lead projects each session with plenty of room and flexibility for each child to explore their own creativity and ideas.

Sliding Scale: $80-120 (for 4 weeks)

SIlvia Bagnacani

Silvia Bagnacani is an experienced art teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Her approach to teaching is focused on Inquiry based learning settings, with specific knowledge in both International Baccalaureate and Reggio Emilia Approach. She grew up in Italy, Reggio Emilia where she worked for the International Center for Education “Reggio Children/Loris Malaguzzi Foundation” together with many galleries and museums. In 2009 she worked as an intern at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. In 2012 she started her career as Visual Arts teacher and curriculum coordinator at La Scuola International School in San Francisco, where she worked for almost 10 years developing the Prek and K-8th Visual Arts curriculum. She is very skilled in integrating multimedia, interdisciplinary and multicultural curriculum that links the arts, history and social movements. Silvia has a BA in Art History, a Master of Arts in Critic, Curatorial and Museum Studies at University La Sapienza in Rome, and a second Master in Management for Curator of Art and Architecture Museums at Valle Giulia, Architecture La Sapienza, Rome. She is a painter and illustrator, her passions include ceramics, architecture, design, music, photography and mostly floral design.
