Meet at the Museum then move to the Plaza for a docent-led tour of Jun Kaneko’s ceramic heads, then end at the Community Center where participants will get a tour of the kilns, see a technical demo, and learn about the wonderful world of ceramics through a “behind the scenes tour” inspired Kaneko’s monumental ceramic sculptures.

This special program is brought to you by SVMA and SCC and designed for volunteers, board members, and donors during this significant moment where Sonoma honors ceramic artist Jun Kaneko on the Plaza. We appreciate all that you do for us and our community!

This is an outdoor experience, feel free to join one part of the tour or arrange other transportation if walking is not an option for you. Light refreshments will be provided and there is no cost to participants. We hope to see you there!

Please pre-register to reserve your spot, and if you need to cancel, kindly email Molly Spencer or call 707-938-4626 x1.
