Hands-on fun with your little ones! This clay class invites moms, dads, or caretakers and their children to create projects in clay together. Non-toxic clay is used to make fun sculptures or small dishes. Wonderful for both parents and children – follow along on a project with instructor or just play with clay and experience the magic!
The projects change each month, families can participate in multiple workshops without repetition. Return approximately 3 weeks after the class to retrieve your finished projects.
Bio: Lillian (Lil) is our newest additional to our talented roster of instructors! She’s a talented children’s instructor and currently teaches here at the Center’s Sonoma Ceramics program as well as the Mill Valley Potter’s Studio. Lil received her BA in Ceramics from Sonoma State University and has experience teaching summer youth arts programming at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. Lil lives in Petaluma and loves introducing young ones to the joys of working with clay!
