June 6 – July 6, 2019

Opening Reception: Thursday June 6, 5:30 – 7:00pm.

Gallery 212 at the Sonoma Community Center will host its newest exhibit showcasing a variety of artwork all created in the Center’s classes and workshops.  The Gallery exhibition will run from June 6 – July 6 and the public are invited to the Opening Reception that will take place Thursday, June 6 from 5:30-7:30pm.

The Student Showcase will feature the variety of artistic disciplines that have been and will continue to be offered in the Center’s arts education programming.  The exhibit will include ceramic pieces, paintings, multimedia projects, mono-prints, and fiber art projects.

“This is a wonderful way to take a glimpse into all the great work that is being produced here at the Center on a daily basis,” Creative Programs Manager, Eric Jackson stated.  “It’s only fitting to give our artists and their creations a platform to be appreciated by the whole community.”

Gallery 212 serves as the Sonoma Community Center’s free Art Gallery open to the public for viewing and for rentals.  It is open 10am-4pm (or by appointment).  The Gallery’s rotating art exhibits support the creative exploration of the Center’s artistic departments as well as the community-based interests of Sonoma Valley.  Jackson continued, “I do hope that visitors will be inspired by the wide amount of techniques being taught and will consider one of our upcoming classes or workshops.”
