Join Rose Hamock as she takes us through an in-depth journey into the traditional art of beaded earrings. This will be an interactive and hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to bead different styles and lengths of earrings.  Participants will also learn about her Pomo and Wailacki culture and traditions.

chiin tha ‘eh. (how are you?) My name is Rose Hammock. My father’s people are Pomo and Wailacki from the Round Valley Indian Reservation and Pomo from the Big Valley Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians. My grandfather’s people are also Maidu and grandmother’s people come from a tribe in Northern Oregon – but we have no pictures or records of where they descended from exactly. My mother’s people are Mexican and Nicaraguan. My grandmother’s people come from Mazatlan, Mexico and Managua, Nicaragua.
