Expressive Monoprints with Collage

10:00AM-4:00PM PT

Instructor:  Jami Taback

Location: Room 208

Bring with you a memory, a dream or reality and learn how to express those feelings in a printmaking process. Tap into your inner spirit with vibrant colorful inks that wash with soap and water. This is a chemical-free/non-toxic workshop. A fairly simple template process allows you to alter and change each print. Students usually take home three finished prints but you may just want to play with this new process and take it in a different direction. The prints can be as simple or sophisticated as you like. Collage is the final touch and often unifies the image, adding interest and dimension. Students can bring their own collage papers or use those provided.

All levels of printmaking experience are welcome.
