1:00-4:00PM PT
Instructor: Carol Davis
Location: Room 201
Use recycled Altoid tin boxes and personal mementos to create a meaningful miniature artwork. Do you have keepsakes stored away in drawers and closets? It’s time to unearth some of the smaller objects and work them into a portable piece of art.
Bring an Altoid tin (we’ll have extras if you need one) and an idea for your theme – a special person, event, or travel adventure – along with photos, maps, and trinkets. We’ll supply adhesives, fanciful paper, fabric, and anything else you might need to embellish your special creation. You’ll go home with a miniature memory box to keep or give to someone special.
Sliding Scale: $15-110

The allure of colors on thick grainy paper inspires me to explore and create. Inspiration comes from the nature around me: birds, insects, our flower and vegetable garden and the beauty of Sonoma’s landscapes and seashores. When I’m not experimenting with the fluidity and the endless variety of watercolors, I enjoy playing with mixed media in an art journal, making small pocket books and other tiny creations.
