Moving Towards Balance

Moving Toward Balance combines several movement modalities to address one’s potential for greater efficiency of movement, allowing for more ease in all that we do. While we develop our spatial and corporal awareness, we increase our flexibility core strength and improve efficacy in balance and gait.
You will gain an understanding of how to increase a more lasting flexibility, mobility and strength plus decrease pain.
Students should bring their own mat.
Although drop-ins are welcome, we request that you pre-register to reserve your space.

Chelley has been teaching pilates for more than 20 years, in S.F. Paris and Sonoma as well as practicing various modalities of massage therapy. She has studied with many of the leading Pilates Practitioners in the Bay Area and is a certified Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis instructor. In addition she has studied Laban Bartenieff, is certified to facilitate somatically based Expressive Arts classes and holds a BA in Dance from Sonoma State.
