3:30PM-5:30PM PT / 5:30PM-7:30PM ET

Instructor: Melissa Weiss

Wheel Thrown Mugs & Drip Cones with Melissa Weiss

Melissa will demonstrate how to throw mugs and coffee drip cones on the wheel. She will talk about mug styles and sets, show examples of her work and explain the importance of a good handle, showing you exactly how she makes hers.

With time remaining after the demo,  there will be an opportunity for in-depth, and Q&A. All workshops will be hosted by the Sonoma Ceramics staff; participants will be encouraged to ask questions using the chat forum in Zoom, and the staff will communicate these questions to Melissa during her demo.

Students will receive the Zoom recording of the workshop to watch at their convenience for two weeks after the workshop (this will be sent to you 24 hours after the workshop). Many participants choose to observe the virtual workshop and work later, but you may also work alongside Melissa during the demo. If you cannot attend the whole workshop, you may drop in and out as you choose, sign up to receive the recording if you cannot make the live demo at all… remember, you’ll have the video to watch for 2 weeks after the workshop is over.

Participants must pre-register for the workshop to get the Zoom link & tool list. Once you register, the links will be in your confirmation email.
