Sashiko is an ancient form of Japanese mending that readily lends itself to repairing

our denim jeans. Discover the rhythm of stitching in patterns in the simple running

stitch. The patterns strengthen a worn area and personalize the garments.

Mending is an improvisational and meditative art form which supports our desire to

waste less. Sashiko is a technique born out of necessity re-purposed to our times.

Bring something you would like to restore, your jeans, a blouse or household item.

Repair supplies will be available for purpose. Supplies available for purchase.

Please bring something to repair: i.e. denim jeans, skirt, or household textiles.
