The Angel, The Muse, and the Duende: Find Discipline, Inspiration, and Soul in the Fibers of Your Paintbrush | Thursdays, October 6-27

October 6 @ 6:30 pm 9:30 pm

6:30-9:30PM PT

Instructor:  Chris Cheek

Location: Room 208

The goal of this four-week “class” is to form an enthusiastic and welcoming painting group that inspires creative expression and growth over time, regardless of participants’ skill levels when they enter the door. The instructor’s role will be to individualize instruction, to coach, to provide cultural context to encourage and to nurture positive discourse. Come to the first day of class with some personal ideas for a painting, a small object to paint, or some pictorial images that you find inspiring. Participants are invited to bring any materials on the supply list below, though not required. There are some supplies in the studio that are available for all students to use, such as various paintbrushes, acrylic paints, watercolors, Masonite panels, canvases, pencils, and paper.
