Instructor and Studio Coordinator
Bri Shimer is Sonoma Ceramic’s Studio Coordinator and holds an MFA from University in North Texas in Ceramics. She focuses her work on creating utilitarian objects with a balance of intuitive process and an emphasis on material exploration. She strives to blend expressions of the natural world and the human experience into functional ceramic wares. The evidence of the hand is a component of her aesthetic, whether it is an active mark on the surface to create form or how the user interacts with the piece.
