Trashion Fashion Design Class for Kids and Teens
Dates: Saturdays, February 16 & 23, and March 9, & 16, 10am-1pm
Location: Fiber Studio- Room 201

Price: $140 / $126 members
This class is for young designers ages 9-17 who want to participate in the April 6th Trashion Runway Show, but don’t know where to start. Under the guidance of Fiber Department Head, Eric Jackson and team, students will receive 12 hours studio time to prep for the show.
The $140 enrollment fee includes the $20 runway show entry fee. Space is limited, early enrollment is encouraged.
Students are asked to bring in materials that speak to them – materials that have been previously used, rescued from the trash/recycling bin, or purchased at a thrift store.

Class Age: Ages 9-17
Eric Jackson is the Head of the Fiber Arts Department at the Sonoma Community Center as well as Creative Project Manager. He developed and became Head of Transcendence Theatre Company’s Wardrobe and Props Department, designing their “Fantastical Family Night” and “The Broadway Holiday Spectacular” (2017). He was the Costume Designer for Sonoma Arts Live’s production of JEEVES INTERVENES and started the Costume Collective partnering with SAL to provide a Costume Design class that actively produces work that can be seen onstage in their productions.
