Come learn a Southern classic, Gumbo with a vegan twist with Chef Kaylissa Dunson! This plant based take on the Southern creole dish consists of flavorful veggie stock filled with lion’s mane mushroom, jackfruit, yam crescents, plant based sausages, bell peppers, onions, and celery.

From being raised by a cook, I could say it was in my blood to know my way around a kitchen. Surprisingly it wasn’t until 2018, upon transitioning to a strictly plant based diet, that I started to explore my culinary talents. In 2020, amidst the pandemic I began doing pop up events, and started Kay’s So Delicious Kitchen to spread awareness of how possible and beneficial a vegan lifestyle is.
