Join award-winning professional watercolorist Robert Benson for a three-session introduction to watercolor painting. Learn basic techniques such as flat wash, dry brush and wet on wet applications to create landscapes and floral still lifes. No prior drawing or painting experience necessary! You’ll choose images to trace directly onto the paper using transfer paper. This class is the perfect introduction for anyone who has always been curious about watercolor, and those with prior experience who want to reignite their interest or brush up on their skills.
All materials are provided.

Robert Benson
Instructor
Robert Benson has been a steady presence on the Sonoma Valley art scene. He currently resides in Santa Rosa, and has built a strong body of Northern California landscapes and still life works. Past shows have included solo exhibitions at various Valley of the Moon wineries and art venues, including The Fig Cafe and Art at the Source Open Studio Tour in Sebastopol.
