About the class

If you are someone who wishes to start or enhance a creative practice, who craves a mini art retreat, or who struggles to sit still during meditation; you are in the right place. This gentle and immersive session will introduce you to a myriad of drawing processes to quiet the mind, open space for new possibilities, liberate creative blocks and generate a sense of peace. We’ll experiment with several meditative art making prompts including: breath drawing, mandala making, drawing mantra, eyes-free space exploration, name portraits, asemic writing labyrinth making among other fun and simple processes. While we will have some time to add color during the workshop, expect to take home a collection of works-in-progress suitable for continued exploration on your meditative arts practice journey. Participants of all experience levels and abilities will take home low risk, high reward meditative art activities that can be repeated infinitely.

Note: There will be a one-hour lunch break. Bring a bag lunch or plan to grab a bite nearby.
