In October, our classes will be focussed around Indigenous Northern American companion planting and harvesting and more specifically around The Three Sisters- Beans, Corn and Squash. We will create art, theater and delicious dishes centered around those crops.
Throughout the semester, our movement class will be Capoeira, A Brazilian martial art form the combines, dance, martial arts and music. Students will not only learn Capoeira, but also the Portuguese language, Brazilian history and Capoeira instruments.
