Our art and culinary departments have joined forces and created family classes! Within the 2.5 hours of your time at the center, you will get to experience two classes, back to back of fun for the whole family. Bring your abuela, your niece, your family friend to these multi generational classes. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Culinary class 11- 12 noon: Learn how to Pan De Muerto, a Mexican bread specifically used as an offering at Dia De Muertos altars.
Art class 12:30-1pm: Learn about the mexican holiday Dia De Muertos, or Day of the Dead and how flowers play a significant role when creating alters or offrendas. Participants will learn to create intricate paper flowers.
Please note that these classes are for child and guardian/family member. It doesn’t matter if your child is 5 or 25, please come together!
