Join us for a night of self-expression every third Wednesday of the month. We are partnering with Positive Images to provide a safe and inclusive space for teens to find their artistic voice through radical self-expression. Each month we will explore a new art theme including a demonstration from a professional artist and all the materials needed to make the project. We will also provide additional art materials if you just need a space to hang out and make your own art! Dinner and soft drinks included! Bring your friends! This club offers an artistic community of inclusion for all identities of gender, sexuality, race, and ethnicity.
Positive Images is a grassroots organization whose mission is to provide support, advocacy, and education to Sonoma County’s LGBTQIA+ community. We nurture positive self-image through creating an affirming environment where everyone can explore their identities, develop leadership skills and participate in building a just and equitable society
Please register in advance so we know how much food to get! Generously donated by Epicurean Connection!
*This is an event for teens. Parents or guardians are invited to attend the Fans of Queer Artists friends and family club for LGBTQIA+ Adults and Allies in conjunction with the QAC. There will be a space provided for friends and family to talk, ask questions and maybe do a little bit of art. Refreshments provided!
