Sonoma Alternative Symphony for Youth (SASY) Debut Recital in Andrews Hall at the Sonoma Community Center.

SASY provides a creative outlet for youth who are broader socially and creatively than the traditional expectations of a Classical Symphony. SASY focuses on modern classical, popular/alternative music and original compositions with special focus on group composition.

A. “Butterfly” Fiddle-Hooper is an internationally seasoned violinist, electric violinist, cellist, composer, videographer, producer, and instructor. Their 27 years of professional repertoire includes a well-rounded blend of classical, soul, jazz, hip hop, reggae, rock & roll, Celtic, Middle Eastern, Indian classical, and alternative trance styles. They have taught nationally and internationally in Europe, India, Japan, and the US, and have performed professionally in 19 countries. Fiddle-Hooper now leads SASY here in Sonoma, and is also availablefor private violin and cello lessons.
