Sonoma Alternative Symphony 4 Youth Auditions

Location: Room 110
This short audition is required for participation in the Sonoma Alternative Symphony 4 Youth (SASY). At the audition, you will be asked to:
- Play three scales of two octaves each
- Play a short prepared song of your choice
- Sight-read a piece of music
Please sign up for one of the available ten-minute time slots.
Materials: Please bring your own instrument and sheet music.

“Butterfly” Fiddle-Hooper is an internationally seasoned violinist, electric violinist, cellist, composer, videographer, producer, and instructor. Their 27 years of professional repertoire includes a well-rounded blend of classical, soul, jazz, hip hop, reggae, rock & roll, Celtic, Middle Eastern, Indian classical, and alternative trance styles. They have taught nationally and internationally in Europe, India, Japan, and the US, and have performed professionally in 19 countries. Fiddle-Hooper now leads SASY here in Sonoma, and is also available for private violin and cello lessons at the Community Center.
