About the class

Join us at the Sonoma Community Center for a wonder-filled week of an herbal and nature camp for kids during Spring Break!

This week will be devoted to learning about the natural world around us as we embark on all kinds of fun art projects and skill-based learning. Some of the activities will include making chapsticks and salves, embossing flowers into clay, seeding and planting a spring garden, singing songs, cooking with plants, sewing a fairy or wizard amulet, and botanical natural dyes. There will also be a fun pizza party on the last day in the Secret Garden, which families are welcome to attend.

We ask that you register before March 17th so that the instructor has enough time to prepare the materials for camp.

Important – Please Note

  1. This camp will include field trips. If you have any questions about this, please email melissa@sonomacommunitycenter.org.
  2. Please make sure to send your child with lunch every day, except for Friday. Lunch will be provided on Friday. We will also provide snacks every day.
  3. Please also send your child with a water bottle or other beverages every day. There are water fountains to refill water bottles.
  4. Some time will be spent outdoors, so please send your child with appropriate clothing, hat, and sunscreen each day.
  5. This camp needs a minimum number of enrollments to take place and may be canceled otherwise.
