MARCH 1, 2020
Instructor: Lisa Thorpe
Inspired by cut paper snowflakes, beautiful Mexican Papel Picado and Hawaiian applique patterns these cut and fuse fabric squares are easy to do, and just like snow flakes no two are alike! You can make as many fused squares as you like to use in a quilted panel, table runner or pillow front. First you will learn how to create a cut paper pattern to transfer to fabric and fuse to backing square. After heat fusing and zig zagging you will begin to embellish your cut fabric squares with simple embroidery stitches that I will teach (or review as the case may be). Must be a confident beginning machine stitcher to participate. Class is for making the embellished squares with embroidery only.
Please bring a lunch with you, a break will be provided.
