SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10:00AM-4:00PM
AUG 22 & 23, 2020
Instructor: George Scribner
This two-day oil painting workshop is geared for painters of all levels and will concentrate on the fundamentals of painting. We’ll begin with a slideshow of my work and a quick summary of what we’ll be covering. The focus of the class will be to cover the basic steps of painting, from design and composition to working with values, then color using a limited palette of three colors plus white. I’ll concentrate on the power of values – it’s where most paintings fail and the easiest step to fix.
The deadline for enrolling in this class is August 19; the class may be cancelled if we do not reach minimum enrollment by this time.
