Seong Weon Joanne Lee recently received MFA in Ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Ceramics and is the current Sonoma Ceramics Artist in Residence.  Joanne specialized in throwing fine porcelain and is a master of hr craft. She will be teaching a wheel class, Thrown & Carved Forms, starting on September 27.

Originally from South Korea, Seong Weon received her BFA from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University with a concentration in Ceramics.  After graduation, she moved back to South Korea for Artist in Residence program at Korea Ceramic Foundation: Icheon Cerapia, where she achieved 3rd place at Gyeonggi International Ceramics Biennale (known as as Moondobang) as the youngest artist in 2011.
