Instructor: Kelly Autumn
Location: Room 208
In this follow-up workshop to Linocut 1, participants will learn how to create a multi-color print using two relief methods; multi-block and reduction. Linocut is a type of relief printing method similar to woodblock. An image is carved into a linoleum block and what is left of the block is inked and printed by hand. Students will be encouraged to create their own signed editions, and learn how to operate the studio presses as an option to printing their work. This is an advanced workshop, and it is only recommended for students who have basic knowledge of beginning linocut techniques.
