Instructor: Michelle Walker
We want to welcome you back to In-Person classes with the first of what we hope will be an ongoing Macrame Series. Join us behind the Sonoma Community Center for an outdoor evening of macrame that you can share time and again with your friends!
Macrame wine totes make great hostess gifts as you’re reentering the world of socializing, paired with your favorite bottle of wine, beer, or fancy water, of course! This class is set up to enjoy the evening as you create. Make a wine tote or two (or many!) with step by step instruction at a relaxed, social speed. Materials for one (1) wine tote included the initial materials fee. Additional supply kits will be available for purchase during class. Colors will be available on a first come, first served basis. Beginner friendly.
Dress for the weather and feel free to bring your own beverage of choice.
$30 per individual
Equity Scholarships Available
Michelle Walker is a working fiber artist with a focus in macrame and weaving, plus a devotion to sharing the benefits of a fiber art practice with others. Art has been a lifelong pursuit of passion for Michelle, who has experience in almost every medium, from painting to clay to printmaking, digital productions, and beyond. Fiber arts captured her attention about 8 years ago and she’s been hooked ever since. When Michelle isn’t sharing her love for fiber, she’s busy gardening, trying out new recipes, and taking care of her little fur family.
