Let your imagination run wild as you create friendly monsters out of upcycled and reclaimed materials!
Students will spend the first part of the workshop thinking about monsters and conceptualizing their own 2D designs. We will then look at the positive effects of upcycling materials and using natural fibers for filling our monsters. Students will then go through the process of picking materials, pinning and sewing up their designs. We will conclude with a sharing circle and naming ceremony for their creations.
$35 materials fee is payable to the instructor is required at the start of class. Students are encouraged to bring any personal clothing/yarn/notions to be included in their creations as well as preferred sketchbook/drawing materials.

Rachael founded Project Squeeble in 2017 to combine her love for creating monsters with her desire to create an environmentally-friendly, sustainable, and locally made products. She has had previous stints in life as a data analyst and strives to integrate her creative, analytical and business selves into one.
