Come play and learn to make beautiful fabric flowers and leaves. In this hands-on class you will have the option of making a full fabric bouquet, a classy brooch or barrettes, or even a chandelier dripping with flowers. The best part is that this is a no-sew class. That’s right- just you, the fabric and some glue. All ages welcome.
Students are requested to bring 1-2 yards of felt fabric and your own fabric glue or hot glue gun and glue sticks if you have them. You can also bring accessories such as beads, crystals, and ribbon, or craft scissors with designed edges for a special touch.
Students should also arrive with the following items based on the final craft of choice…
For a chandelier you will need:
- Rim to hang the flowers from (i.e. a cross stitch hoop or sticks)
- Thin ribbon, yarn or fishing line of choice to hang your flowers
For a bouquet you will need:
- Stem material (i.e. pipe cleaners, wire, or chopsticks)
In addition if your making a brooch you will need:
- Type of clips on your flowers (i.e. an alligator clip, pin back, tie tacks or a giant safety pin)

Jennifer started sewing 7 years ago with a $40 machine. She makes costumes that are whimsical and is often inspired by jokes or over the top ideas. She loves to thrift for items to modify and add into designs. Her sewing style is not technical as much as free form and this adds to the whimsy of her designs.
