This beginner level class will take you through the Classical Pilates exercises in order each week. Because the class sizes are small, each person can expect to receive individualized attention and exercises will be modified to match each client’s fitness level.
This class includes an emphasis on fundamental skills and themes, such as breath, oppositional energy, and finding connection through different parts of the body.

Julia started doing Pilates in 2013 after a friend suggested it as a great way to get in shape. But she quickly realized the method could offer her more and decided to become an instructor. Not only did she want to make her own practice stronger, but also bring the health, joy and peace she found through Pilates to others. In 2016, after 950 hours of study in the Classical Pilates method, Julia completed The Advanced Teacher Training Program at a licensed teaching studio for The Pilates Center of Boulder, CO. Since then she has taught at studios in San Francisco, Marin and now, Sonoma. She is currently continuing her education by completing The Pilates Center’s Master’s Program, which is an additional 116 hours of training.
