Grechen Colón


Grechen Colon was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to study Ayurvedic Medicine in the foothills of the Sierras in the early 2000s. Turning to vegetarianism and Ayurveda helped her on a health healing journey but ultimately, she missed her Puerto Rican food roots. After many years of culinary experimentation, she developed many Puerto Rican recipes to suite her vegetarian needs. Grechen resides in Nevada City California and works as an elementary educator and health and culture advocate.
