FIRST WEDNESDAYS OF THE SUMMER MONTHS
JUNE 1, JULY 6, and AUGUST 3, 2022
Facilitated by: Eric Jackson
Location: The Secret Garden (located off of the back parking lot)
A Sonoma Open Mic evening at the Sonoma Community Center’s Secret Garden open to the public to perform and/or be entertained.
Come gather this summer to share and celebrate the many talents this community has! Monthly attendees are invited to sign-up for a timed opportunity to take to the stage and showcase their talents. Anything is possible: storytelling, playing an instrument, singing, dramatic reading, dancing, poetry reading, juggling, magic, monologue, lip syncing, stand-up comedy etc…anything goes. (We just ask that all talent remains PG for family members of all ages.)
Come show off that well-rehearsed and favorite act. Or use this as an opportunity to try out your new material on a captive audience. It is your open mic and open stage for community members of all ages.
A keyboard, music stands, a sound system with microphone and input capability, and access to electricity will be made available. Performers should bring with them any other instruments, props, or technical needs required to perform. Light refreshments will also be made available on a donation basis.
