MON – FRI 10:00AM – 2:00PM
JULY 6 – 10 & 13 – 17, 2020
Instructor: Pia Andersson
Back by popular demand, this two week fiber arts camp will immerse students into the world of sewing and crafting. This is the perfect chance for curious students to be introduced to the fiber arts and to tailor their skills. By applying basic fashion techniques, your young designer will be making amazing garment outfits and / or accessories like string backpacks, pillow covers, zipper bags, and shoulder strap bags. We’ll work with the dress form and commercial patterns for those students who want to sew clothing for themselves. They will also learn hand sewing techniques, button sewing, crochet, and other fiber crafts.
Students will leave the camp speaking fluent sewing. No experience necessary and plenty of room for personal expression! Sewing machine, patterns, and tools provided.
