About the class

Parents must accompany children to the class.

It’s “back-to-school” time and that can be exciting, but also stressful. Let’s learn some tips on how to take care of ourselves and our children during this time and start the school year off strong! 

Essential Wellness is all the little things we can do every day to keep us feeling good, especially when we might not feel like it. Every day, we move our bodies, offer ourselves nourishing foods, and find ways to feel more relaxed. Just a 5 minute walk, a few deep breaths, or a nutrient rich smoothie might be all you need. Let’s practice Essential Wellness together!

About the instructor

Jen Bakane

Founder of Essential Whole Body Wellness, LLC

Jen Bakane spent most of her career as a professional dancer, dance teacher and arts administrator for ballet companies and schools in North Carolina, Colorado, and California and has a masters degree in Arts Management from the University of Denver. She is an avid holistic health enthusiast and committed to the physical and mental health benefits of an active lifestyle.

After closing out her dance career in 2019 as a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders, Jen shifted her career to focus more on fitness and wellness. Jen is a a Holistic Health Practitioner, Meditation Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Barre Instructor, and RYT​ Yoga Instructor. Jen is the founder of Essential Whole Body Wellness LLC and is the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection.
