We provide aspiring and practiced artists with a supportive community led by experienced teaching artists. Participants develop new skills and gain hands-on experience in drawing, oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage and mixed media.

A Place for Me: Art Inspired by Faith Ringgold – Gallery Exhibit
Figure Arts Open studio
On the first and third Saturday of each month we offer artists the opportunity to work uninstructed from a nude model in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The session begins with two-minute gesture poses, followed by 5-minute, 10-minute, and 20-minute poses, concluding with a one-hour pose. The model takes a break every twenty minutes. Easels, tables, and art boards are provided. Bring your own art supplies; all two-dimensional media are allowed, provided there is no odor. Age 18+ only. Artists of all levels are welcome.
Advance registration is recommended. Walk-in’s are accepted only if space is available. All participants must sign an etiquette agreement.
