
The Fiber & Three-Dimensional Arts department at the Sonoma Community Center provides educational opportunities, experiences, and events in a variety of textile and three-dimensional arts such as sewing, knitting, dyeing, basketry, beading, and jewelry.
Fiber Artist Opportunities
Fiber Studio Artist (FSA) is a volunteer position lasting 3-12 months that gives an emerging fiber artist space to work and access to all tools, equipment and supplies in the Fiber Arts Studio to develop a new body of fiber-based work. Read more.

Fiber Arts Happy Hour
The Center’s weekly FREE Fiber Arts Happy Hour takes place every Wednesday from 4.30-6.00pm. Bring a project that you’re working on, or just come and enjoy the company of other fiber arts lovers; this is a weekly opportunity to play, explore, and connect! Read more.

Fiber Arts Open Studio
The Community Center’s Fiber Arts Department offers access to a spacious, well-lit studio. Use of the Fiber Art room is limited to dry and clean art forms; use of paints, inks, clay, etc. can be accommodated in one of the Center’s other art studios. Read more.
