printmaking open studio
The Community Center’s Printmaking Open Studio provides access to experienced printmakers who wish to work on independent projects. There is space and equipment to practice and explore monoprinting, etching, intaglio, relief printing, gel plate printing, collagraph, and screen printing.

The Printmaking Artist in Residence Program equips artists with resources and skills to better develop and articulate their artistic practices. Residents are able to advance their work, actively pursue their career ambitions, foster connections within the printmaking community and share their knowledge outside the studio walls.

print day in may
This is an annual event celebrated around the globe taking place on the first Saturday in May and is open to all for free! Print day in May is a full day of printing workshops and artist talks. More information is available on the official website here.
help Ukraine, buy a print
The Sonoma Community Center is proud to support Sonoma’s sister city, Kaniv, Ukraine. Handmade prints from our print studio are available for sale by the main office. All “prices” are suggested, with 50% of the proceeds going to support Kaniv, and the other 50% supporting the print studio.
