The Cabinijazz Project performs soulful original Latin dance music written by its leader, conga player Javier Cabanillas. Cabanillas is a Grammy Award Winning percussionist and has been called one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most respected and busiest congueros. The band will perform danceable mambo jazz along with their retro salsa repertoire. The eight-piece ensemble adds an injection of vitality and coolness to contemporary tropical music.
Food & Drink to include wine, beer, tacos & roasted corn.

The Summer Concert Series at the Sonoma Community Center is produced in partnership with Music in Place whose mission is to bring culturally relevant performances to Bay area neighborhood venues so that everyone can access the power of music. Creating opportunities for musical performances to occur in nontraditional venues expands access to the musical arts. The Concert Series is a fundraiser for the Sonoma Community Center.
