Sonoma Community Center’s new exhibit, “Instructor Showcase 2024” features artwork created by 23 instructors who are scheduled to teach the current trimester of classes. The Gallery 212 exhibition runs from January 2 – January 11 and includes paintings, prints, fiber art, ceramics, and book arts.

Attendees of the exhibit will have the opportunity to purchase some art as well as learn about the specific classes led by each of the artists. During the opening reception on Thursday, January 4 from 5:00pm-7:30pm many of the artists will be present to talk about their upcoming classes. Visitors can actually enroll in a class to learn how to make something similar to the pieces on display. It’s the perfect time to try something new.
