Instructor / Artist

Laura Webber Pierce is a fourth generation rug hooker, growing up with rugs made by her mother, Emma Webber. Laura took up the hook in 1996 to share time and the art of rug making with Emma.  Eleven of her rugs have been selected for Rug Hooking Magazine’s Celebration of Hooked Rugs; a yearly contest for rug hooking artists.

In 2003, Laura began teaching rug hooking with classes in her home and attending a yearly teachers’ conference in Eugene, OR. These days she offers rug rooking instruction at rug camps and workshops around the USA and in Western Canada.
