About the camp

Plein Air Camp will take campers on a tour of Sonoma to draw and paint. The camp aims to give campers an appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds them while developing their skills as budding artists. Each day, campers will practice and improve upon their observational art skills, with accessible lessons exploring concepts such as composition, color temperature and value, and linear and atmospheric perspective. Students will grow their confidence in their technical skills while spending time outside and further developing their love for creative expression through visual arts.

Please share any special considerations (medical, physical, learning) that will help your instructor make your class accessible and accommodating for you. You can share these considerations when register or by emailing Sean at sean@sonomacommunitycenter.org.

Thank you to Sonoma Plein Air Foundation for sponsoring this camp.
