About the class

Create a beautiful piece of art using the power of the sun! In this workshop, participants will utilize solar dye to print unique and eye-catching designs onto a fabric of their choice. Students will learn basic paper cutting to create their own stencils, then arrange those stencils into a design on their chosen surface. The design will then be set in the sun to develop with uv exposure.

Plain white bandanas to print on will be provided. You are also welcome to bring something from home, such as a white or light colored t-shirt, apron, or a tea towel. All dying and paper cutting materials provided.

Please share any special considerations (medical, physical, learning) that will help your instructor make your class accessible and accommodating for you. You can share these considerations when register or by emailing Sean at sean@sonomacommunitycenter.org.
