Cocktails, Flamingos, Drag Queens, & Dinner! In celebration of Gay Pride Month, the Center invites you to The Birdcage Experience! Join us for a night inspired by 1996’s “The Birdcage.” Unlike the film, our 4-course menu has been planned to perfection by Chef Kyle Kuklewski.
Wear your “South Beach Style” and begin the evening with a cocktail party featuring 2 specialty cocktails from Prohibition Spirits and a beer selection from HenHouse Brewing Co. DJ Starjay will play Latin dance beats and Jose Martinez will teach an optional bilingual painting lesson featuring pink flamingos.
Come on shake your body baby, do the conga!
At the end of the cocktail hour, guests will be escorted from the Redwood Grove to the Secret Garden, transformed into the Birdcage Nightclub for the evening. Drag Queens will greet you with bubbles from Corner 103 Wines.
A fabulous 4-course meal will be served family style along with Corner 103 Wines. Drag queens will perform numbers between courses and interact during mealtime. Remember to bring singles as they do accept tips!

When you register for a class, you’ll be offered three price tiers. The middle tier comes closest to what our registration fees used to be, and covers about 50% of the full cost of your participation in the class – with the other 50% covered by community donations. The first tier creates accessibility for people with limited income, while the third tier covers the full cost of participation – so that we can use community donations to support other people’s registration costs. When you choose to register at the third tier, you directly help support the Center’s efforts to remove financial barriers for others.
