Providing affordable space is a core part of our service to the community. Over the years, many nonprofits and small businesses have gotten their start at the Community Center, including FISH, the Boys & Girls Club, Vintage House, and others.
We have a wide range of spaces, including conference rooms, class rooms, outdoor areas, kitchen and dining facilities.
The Sonoma Community Center features plenty of off-street parking and is conveniently located within three blocks of downtown Sonoma.
We can accommodate a wide range of needs, including small-group meetings, seminars, classes, and parties. Rent for an hour, a day, or week. Have special set-up needs? We can meet them.
In keeping with federal protections around the freedom of expression, the Community Center does not discriminate in its dealings with potential or confirmed rental events, save in instances where a potential renter’s business or values stand in direct opposition to the mission of the Community Center or the rules governing 501 (c)3 tax-exempt organization. As such, the Community Center expresses no affiliation with or endorsement of events organized by paying third parties on its premises.
Facility Description
The newly renovated Andrews Hall is our largest rental space. This is a classic proscenium theater, with raised stage, main floor and balcony. Andrews Hall seats 150 people as an audiotirum, or can host large parties, with the seating removed.
The venue is host to a wide variety of events, including:

Andrews Hall is equipped with a state of the art Audio/Video system and has an advanced theatrical lighting system. Additional areas that are often used in conjunction with the theater include: the Rotary Kitchen, Theater Lobby, Box Office and Greenroom.

Facility Description
Our largest multipurpose room (the Serres Room) measures 24′ x 50′. The room quickly transforms from a large open space to a banquet room for up to 75 people — and most anything in between! We provide an assortment of tables and chairs to meet most needs. Room 110 has an outside door that allows groups to spill into our large Outdoor Patio. Its proximity to the Kitchen makes it easy for groups to cater an event.
The room is great for larger meetings, classes, dining, and parties. It’s on the ground floor with direct access to the patio and parking.

Facility Description
The newly renovated Rotary Kitchen is available to rent by the hour. Our typical tenants use the Kitchen to meet the commercial food handling requirements mandated by the Sonoma County Department of Health Services. In addition, the Kitchen is host to many other uses:
• Cooking classes
• Private functions
• Concessions area
Made possible through a generous grant from Sonoma Valley Rotary Club, the Rotary Community Kitchen is commercially licensed and equipped with sink, preparation areas, commercial stove/oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The adjoining dining area seats 30 and is an additional $30 per hour when renting the kitchen.

Gallery 212, also known as Room 212, is a large space of unobstructed hardwood flooring and high ceilings. A full wall of windows accents this 100+ year old classroom, and modern track light system provide the element of dramatic light. The room is home to various art exhibits and art sales throughout the year. We can transform the space with pedestals, shelf units and art panels. The open space easily transforms into a meeting room, performance space, pop-up art show, trunk sale, etc. You never know what to expect in Gallery 212!
