Trash Bash Wrap Up Party & Inaugural City of Sonoma Earth Day Event (FREE!)

Enjoy a full day of talks, exhibits, food, and hands-on opportunities to learn and take action. Trashion Fashion Runway Designs will be on mannequins throughout the building. Place your final bids on the Barbies & Bags exhibit in Gallery 212. Meet designers. Shop the vendors. Celebrate sustainability!

In honor of “Trashion Fashion” we are focusing on creative reuse and sustainable printmaking! Tetra Pak printmaking is an eco-friendly and accessible art technique that repurposes used food and beverage cartons – like those for milk, juice, or broth- as printing plates. It is a form of intaglio printmaking.

Create Your Own Storybook World!

Tuesday After-School Program with Alice Pennes

Tuesdays, April 28-May 26, 3:30-5:30 PM, $125

Kids will explore the magical world of Richard Scary. Inspired by his playful style, students will design and develop their very own characters—deciding where these characters live, work, play, eat, and sleep! Students will work independently as well as in groups to develop their visual storytelling muscles.

“Print Day in May” Printmaking Symposium

Saturday, May 2, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, $40 (will be $50)

This Print Day in May celebration is a unique opportunity to connect and be part of a lively, artist-led event rooted in the spirit of honoring printmaking. The festivities will include some hands-on activities, artist talks, Q&A, and end with a mix & mingle happy hour party with homemade pizza in our Secret Garden.
