About the instructor

Anna Wong

Author

It started as a passion project born of necessity and love. Utilizing her graphic design
background, Anna Wong takes great pride in paying tribute to her Chinese heritage. Her nieces
and nephews inspired Anna to joyfully capture these stories so they can be passed along to
future generations. By sharing with a larger audience, she hopes everyone can learn to
appreciate, embrace and respect all cultures. She continues the exciting journey of defining her
identity, sharing and connecting with the community. Anna feels doubly happy and lucky to be
of Chinese heritage. She lives in San Francisco with her husband. The “cool aunt” Anna shows off the city she loves Jby chasing after the best pastries, boba, and pineapple buns with her young relatives, often with multiple visits in one day. After making them walk miles and climb stairs throughout the
city, she treats them to photo-worthy yumminess at her favorite bakeries and eateries.
